I founded Nest Egg Ninjas in June of 2017 as a resource for those both just getting started on their personal finance journeys as well as those who have been socking money away for decades but may have questions or need clarifications on a few finer points. In other words, hopefully everyone. My goal was to break down seemingly confusing personal finance terminology into their most easily digestible forms while providing a bit of inspiration for those who don’t believe saving money is important or worthwhile.
During the two years prior to my launching this blog, I earned my MBA on the weekends from a prestigious school in the Southeast while working a six-figure sales job and helping raise a perfect newborn baby boy. Needless to say, there were many sleepless nights — not only studying, but panicking while trying to figure out just how to balance all of my financial obligations. Oy vey.
I figured that even though my day job consisted of me exclusively focused on making ends meet for my family (for now), I could put my knowledge and passion for personal finance to use in the evenings. I am excited to create this community of Ninjas — a welcoming environment for anyone and everyone with questions regarding all things personal finance. That could mean needing clarifications on the ins and outs of the Three-Fund Portfolio, or why even try to save in the first place. The important thing to remember is that we were all beginners at one point or another, and I hope that after perusing the information contained in this website that you feel confident in your financial plan and journey.
Together, let’s build a community of Nest Egg Ninjas!
